Description

Colorized view of the abbey perched on a promontory at the edge of the lake, with a landscape of green hills in the background. On the reverse, a handwritten letter addressed to Madame Chaupin in Vichy, accompanied by a French postage stamp of 2.50 francs dated September 18, 1943, and a postmark from 'VIVIERS-DU-LAC (Savoie)'.
