Black and white view of a ruined fort nestled in a rocky cliff, with visible openings and invasive vegetation. On the reverse, a postcard dated 19 August 1949, sent from Mazayes (Loir-et-Cher) to Montreuil-sur-Loire (Seine), with an 8 franc stamp and a handwritten inscription 'Souvenirs de Vacances'.
