View of the famous Roman aqueduct of Pont du Gard, located in the Gard, with its three levels of stone arches crossing a river. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated December 8, 1963, addressed to Madame Delage in Gessac, and a French 20-centime postal stamp obliterated.
