Description

Panoramic view of a viaduct with 13 arches overlooking a rural landscape with a village below and hills in the background. On the reverse, printed text describing the viaduct as begun in February 1892, completed in August 1895, with a height of 60 meters, a total length of 581 meters, and a cost of 3 million. The publisher is O.M. Feras. The card is addressed to Madame and Monsieur Joly in Maisons, with handwritten text and a 50-centime French Republic stamp canceled in Saint-Ignaty-de-Vers (Rhône) on August 17, 1971.
