Description

Night view of the illuminated port of Marseille, with reflections of lights on the water and the statue of Mount Sainte-Victoire in the background. On the reverse, a postcard sent to Jean-Charles de Valloire, with a 50-centime French Republic stamp and a Marseille cancellation of 1st January 1945. The handwritten text refers to a walk at the port the previous day.
