View of the officers' mess at the Valdahon (Doubs) camp, with a long brick and stone building, trees in the foreground, and several soldiers gathered in front. The reverse bears a handwritten letter dated March 25, 1928, sent from this camp, signed 'Maurice', and a postmark.
