Description

Night view of the Maison Carrée in Nîmes, illuminated, with its Corinthian columns and main staircase. On the reverse, a handwritten note dated April 15, 1944 recounts the senders' arrival in Nîmes and their hope to visit the house. The postmark is canceled in Nîmes.
