Description

View of a pontoon crossing a lake or sea, with several vehicles (cars and motorcycles) in motion. A wooden lighthouse or watchtower on a white base dominates the scene. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 14, 1957, sent to 'S. Jean de Pans', describing a car trip with friends, mentioning 'low tide' and the 'passage du GOIS'. The postmark is partially visible, with a cancellation 'NIMROD-BUER' and a mention 'CHAMBERY'.
