Postcard illustrating the Square des Batignolles in Paris, with several views of the park: a pond with statue, benches under trees, a tree along the edge, and a general view. The reverse indicates that the statue represents the poet Léon Dierx, born in St-Denis in 1838 and died in Paris in 1912, author of 'Lèvres closes'. The publisher is Christian Brocard, with a note of prohibited reproduction.
