View of a tree-lined canal with a small wooden bridge in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated August 24, 1988, sent from Pontvallain to Paris, mentioning summer holidays spent at the summer equipment. Red 220-franc stamp and postmark from Pontvallain (Sarthe).
