Description

Panoramic view of the Échelle Pass in the Pyrenees, with a winding road and military vehicles below. The reverse contains a handwritten letter dated September 15, 1948, sent from the 'Chain of the Pyrenees' to 'Mme Tourmalet,' mentioning a received postcard from 'Mme Ronde' and a visit to the hotel of 'Mme Granjon' in Paris.
