Description

Colorized view of the port of Les Sables-d'Olonne with a vessel "Fleurida" carrying passengers. In the background, port buildings and boats. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated June 3, 1949, sent to Madame Hoceline, describing the weather conditions and pleasures of the port. The postmark is canceled in La Roche-sur-Yon (Vendée) on June 4, 1949.
