Black-and-white view of a curved beach bordered by houses and promenades, under a cloudy sky. The reverse features a handwritten letter addressed to Bartellemy Sugamo in Bar-Le-Duc, dated July 10, 1952, with a 12-franc stamp and a postmark from Sainte-Adresse (Côtes-du-Nord).
