Description

Black and white view of a village in a valley surrounded by mountains, with snow-capped peaks in the distance. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated 11 August, addressed to 'Ma petite Gisouret Dido', sent from the Hotel des Alpes in Saint-Jeoire (Haute-Savoie), mentioning holidays and the beauty of the landscapes. The stamp and cancellation are visible at the bottom right.
