View of the monument to Jules Grévy, former president of the Republic, in Dole, with a statue of a man holding a flag and an allegorical figure. The reverse has handwritten address to Monsieur Pierre Salmon in Givet (Ardennes) and a postmark from Dole dated 21 April 1945. Two 5-centime stamps of the French Republic are affixed in the top left.
