Description

Interior view of the Romanesque Church of Saint-Savin, famous for its 11th-century frescoes inspired by Genesis and Exodus. The front shows a nave with ornate columns and a luminous apse. The reverse features a handwritten letter to Madame Charles Bonnet, a 0.25 franc postage stamp dated 1965, and mentions the publisher 'MEXICHROME' as well as the series 'The Modern Imagination'.
