Description

Illustrated postcard showing three historical postal scales used to weigh mail in order to calculate postage. The scale in the foreground, a platform scale, is equipped with a pendulum and was put into service in Alberta in 1925. The reverse mentions the publisher (Canadian Postal Museum) and indicates that the scales are preserved at the Canadian Museum of History.
