Postcard illustrating three postal scales used for weighing envelopes to calculate postage. The balance scale in the foreground, used in Alberta in 1925, rests on a pendulum mechanism. Bilingual text in English and French. Recipient: Finance Department of the City of Montreal. Canada 1 stamp with 'CANADA POST' cancellation and Canada 39 stamp.
