Postcard illustrating three historical postal scales, used in the 19th and 20th centuries to weigh letters in order to calculate postage. Bilingual text in English and French. Reverse mentions their preservation at the Canadian Museum of History and notes that the balance scale was standard in small post offices from the 19th to the 20th century. Canada 40 cents stamp and postmark H3C 150.
