Description

Postcard illustrating postal scales used in Canada in the 19th and 20th centuries, with bilingual text in English and French. The reverse indicates that the scales are preserved at the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Ottawa. The handwritten address is to Montreal, and a recipient address in Baie-Comeau is visible. Canada 40 stamp with Montreal, P.Q., cancellation dated April 30, 1938.
