Description

Postcard illustrating the steamship Bownington, launched in 1911 for postal service on the Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes in British Columbia, transferred to the government in 1942 and demolished in 1946. Bilingual text (English/French) at the bottom. Front: handwritten address to 'Le groupe Papillon du cercle de la Beauté, 1700, autoroute Saval, Saval (Québec)'.
