Description

Postcard illustrating the rear-wheel steamer Barnington, launched in 1911 by the CPR for postal service on Kootenay, Arrow, and Okanagan lakes, transferred to the government of British Columbia in 1931 and demolished in 1946. The reverse details the ship's history in English and French, with a mention of the publisher Canada Post. The recipient's address is in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, and the sender's address is in Laval, Québec.
