Description

Illustrated postcard depicting the rear-wheel steam locomotive Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the Canadian Pacific Railway company to navigate the Kootenay and Okanagan rivers. The reverse details its transfer to the government of British Columbia in 1942 and its abandonment in 1946. Canada 32 stamp with Sudbury postmark.
