Description

Postcard illustrating the rear-wheel steamer Bonnington, launched in 1911 by the Canadian Pacific Railway Company at Nakusp, navigating on Arrow and Okanagan lakes. Printed text in English and French describing its postal service until 1931, then transferred to the provincial government in 1932 and dismantled in 1946. Reverse: handwritten address to the Honours and Awards Division of Veterans Affairs Canada in Ottawa, with Canada 32 stamp and Drumheller (Alberta) cancellation dated October 1960.
