Description

Illustrated postcard depicting the steamship Bonnington, launched in 1911 for postal service on Arrow and Okanagan lakes, transferred to the government in 1931 and dismantled in 1946. The reverse details its history in French and English, with a mention of the date 'Fall/III-35' at the bottom right. The handwritten address is destined for Québec, Ville St-Laurent, and bears a Canada 32 stamp with a Montreal-Nord cancellation, 10/19/1953.
