Description

Indian postcard dated 13 July 1938, franked with 9 pence stamp depicting King George V. The reverse features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to Hajjari mal in Bombay. Two circular postmarks from Bombay (« DELY. 15 JUL. 38 » and « MUNNAR 13 JUL. 38 ») are visible, as well as a handwritten English inscription « THE ANNEXED CARD IS INTENDED FOR THE ANSWER ».
