Indian postcard dated April 27, 1940, sent from Calcutta to Bombay. The reverse shows handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with a green 9 pence stamp depicting King George VI, canceled with a circular postmark from Calcutta. The address is handwritten in English and Devanagari.
