Description

Indian postcard dated 25 February 1909, franked with a 9 pence stamp depicting a royal portrait, with cursive Devanagari script on the reverse. The front bears a circular postmark of 'CEVI-POD' and a handwritten cursive inscription. The reverse contains a long handwritten letter in Devanagari, with a signature at the bottom right.
