Description

Indian postcard dated 1897, franked with a 9 pias stamp depicting Queen Victoria, with a circular postmark from Bombay. The reverse features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, addressed to a recipient in Bombay, with an English note: 'THE ANNEXED CARD IS INTENDED FOR THE ANSWER'.
