Description

British postcard dated 1914, sent from India, with handwritten Devanagari script on both the front and back. The back indicates the recipient's address in Marwar (Rajasthan) and mentions 'ADDRESS ONLY'. The 9 pence stamp (portrait of King George V) is placed at the top right, with a circular postmark 'INDIA POST CARD' and the date '4/1/14' (probably 4 January 1914).
