Description

Indian postcard dated 1938, sent from Bombay to a recipient in Calcutta. The reverse features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with the recipient's address in English. Two 9 pence stamps are affixed, one bearing the effigy of King George V, and the other an Indian postal stamp. The circular cancellation 'BOMBAY SUB-ACCT.' is visible.
