Description

Indian postcard dated February 16, 1898, franked with two nine-pence stamps depicting King Edward VII, with a postmark from Hinga. The reverse features a long handwritten correspondence in Tibetan script, with a Tibetan script address and a postmark from Bombay. The stamp is canceled and the printed text is partially visible.
