Indian postcard dated 1912, sent from Sambhar Lake (Rajasthan) with a 9 pence Indian stamp. The reverse presents handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, with the recipient's address in Sambhar Lake and a circular cancellation from Sambhar Lake dated 31 January 1912. The stamp is a 'Nine Pies' of India, with a portrait of George V.
