Indian postcard dated August 1934, issued in Gwalior, with a 9 pies stamp depicting the imperial crown and a circular postmark. The reverse bears handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script, including an address and date (18/8/1934), as well as an English note indicating that the card is for a reply. A small decorative motif of two snakes encircling the sun is visible in the lower right corner.
