Description

Indian postcard dated October 31, 1918, franked with a 9 pence stamp depicting King George V, with a postmark of 'ASHAR G. BILSAC' and 'DELHI'. The back features handwritten correspondence in Devanagari script addressed to 'Lashkher' in Calcutta, with a motif of two snakes encircling the sun. The text on the front is partially visible in Devanagari script and in English.
