Indian postcard dated August 9, 1929, franked with a green 1/2 anna stamp depicting a portrait, with a postmark from Gwalior. The reverse has a handwritten Devanagari script, including the recipient's address in Gwalior and a note from the publisher 'THE ANNEXED CARD IS INTENDED FOR THE ANSWER'.
