Description

Postcard dated December 22, 1990, sent from Kandy (Sri Lanka) to Colombo, requesting the broadcast of a radio program titled 'Last Christmas' by artists Nirmala Abyedeera, Manju Abyedeera, Liyla Jaleele, Hemal Pathirana, and Indika Perera. The reverse contains a handwritten request in English and Tamil, addressed to the Colombo station WHAM, with a postmark from Kandy dated December 22, 1990. A 75 rupee stamp, depicting the lion of Sri Lanka, is affixed at the top right.
