Description

Sri Lankan postcard dated October 9, 1960, with a 75-cent stamp depicting the lion of Sri Lanka. The back has handwritten Tamil script, including an address to 'Sri Lanka' and the number '7' at the bottom. The circular cancellation bears the date '17 9' and the word 'SRI LANKA'.
