Description

Sri Lankan postcard dated 1974, addressed to the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation in Colombo, with a handwritten request for the broadcast of a special song. The reverse features a request to play the song 'Sacrifice' by Elton John, in favor of 'Shal Doole' and 'Lasitha Gunaratne' from Colombo 3. The 75 cent stamp and cancellation 'D.A.P.O. COLOMBO' are visible.
