British postcard dated June 1899, sent from Wells to Windham, Connecticut, U.S.A. The reverse contains a handwritten letter from the sender's family, mentioning their arrival in Salisbury, the health of their daughter Helen after the journey, and their enjoyment of staying in Wells. A one-penny stamp is affixed with a postmark from Wells.
