Description

Black and white view of the rocky valley of Puits d'Enfer, around Saint-Maixent, with steep cliffs and a stream below. The back features a handwritten letter dated May 26, 1919, addressed to 'Dear Anne', expressing joy at receiving the postcard and mentioning a preference for mountain views. A green 5-cent stamp is affixed at the top left.
