Colored postcard depicting a Venetian landscape with a steamboat in the foreground, buildings in the background, and flowers (violet and frangipani) in the foreground. On the reverse, a handwritten address for 'Miss Georgette Balton, La Chapelle, 1er Meaux' and a birthday message. Postmark of 15 centimes of the French Republic, cancellation from La Chapelle-Saint-Mesmes dated February 21, 1845.
