Two women in traditional costume of the Creuse Region, one seated spinning wool, the other standing holding a thread in her hand, with a basket of wool at their feet. Printed text at the bottom: « Pindin qué mo vesino petasso, y filé la lano par faire do drap, de las chaussas et dos chaussous ». Reverse: handwritten address to Madame Defombre at Coul, faubourg St Monnuy 28, Neufchâtel-Nosselle, with a blue stamp and a postmark from Bonneville.
