Two young women in bathing suits and decorated hats pose on rocks by the sea, with a lighthouse and a bridge in the background. The reverse side features a handwritten letter dated August 17, 1937, sent from Les Sables-d'Olonne to Thionville, with a 50-centime stamp and a local postmark.
