Portrait of a woman in traditional Bressane costume, wearing a hat with a veil, seated and holding a basket. The reverse features a handwritten letter dated September 3, 1901, addressed to Madame la Comtesse de Beaumarchais in Fontainebleau, with a 10-centime postage stamp and a Fontainebleau cancellation.
