Description

Postcard showing the ruins of the chapel of the castle in Gerbéviller, severely damaged by the battles of World War I in 1914. The building shows significant damage, particularly on the towers and façade. On the reverse, handwritten correspondence addressed to 'Monsieur Charles' in Rennes, with a postmark 'ARRET POSTE 12 JEC 14' and handwriting mentioning battles and reunions.
