View of an interior courtyard of the Stengel Barracks in Germersheim, with a horse-drawn cart transporting barrels. Red brick and timber-framed buildings frame the scene. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated June 23, 1915 mentions a soldier's reform at the Mayenne hospital and the departure of a regiment.
