Description

Black and white view of a medieval rampart with a round stone tower covered in ivy on a wooded hill. On the reverse, a handwritten letter dated 27.10.1940, sent from Gisors to Grenoble, with a 5 franc blue stamp and a Paris cancellation. The publisher is 'Cap' and the card bears the inscription '101 - GISORS - The Walls of the Castle'.
