Description

View of Teignmouth Beach with swimmers and a building at the water's edge, under a cloudy sky. Printed text at the bottom reads 'BEACH. TEIGNMOUTH.' and the number 1562. On the reverse, handwritten French text expresses gratitude for the card and mentions 'It is a nice place and an important seaside resort.' The address is intended for Madame Briguemal Dourdian in Sene-et-Gize, France, with a 1d 1/2 stamp and a Malverne cancellation dated March 1, 1901.
