Description

Color illustration of a rural landscape with a stream, brick houses, and swans. The reverse features printed text describing Amersham as an ancient market town with its Market Hall dating from 1883. A handwritten letter is addressed to 'Mademoiselle Przewówska' in Gzye-sur-Seine, with a red 1d stamp and a London postmark dated 9 April 1909.
